Filmed across two turbulent years, Life Is A Cultural Thread is a short documentary confronting aspects of current phenomena in the lives of creative women of different ages and born in different lands, but facing similar sociocultural biases. The film documents the opinions of Christie van der Haak, who is the only woman to win the Ouborg Award in 2015 besides Lotti van der Gaag of The Hague in the Netherlands.
